Platetone

About Us

Platetone was founded in 2004 as community printmaking studio offering membership to fine art printmakers. Since then, we have grown to incorporate Book and Paper Arts and and changed to become a 501c3 non profit.

We offer 24/7 studio access to equipment and space for creating including presses for etching, lithography, and letterpress, as well as a silk-screen area and equipment for bookwork and papermaking. We also teach workshops, provide exhibition opportunities and host a free educational Open Studio every First Saturday.

We are professionals, teachers, amateurs, students.

Mission

We make art and empower creatives through studio access, workshops and exhibitions.
