Artists in Residence Program

Are you looking to gain experience in the non-profit realm?
Do you love to be in on the ground level and part of a tight-knit team making stuff happen?
Do you have time to contribute but less financial resources?

Our Artist in Residence Program might be perfect for you!

Our Residences are the fuel that makes us go, the fire that keeps us burning bright - have we used enough metaphors already? Each Resident takes on a crucial area of our operations and shapes and owns it during their residency. Residencies are 6 month terms with no limit on the number of terms a member can serve. Our residency offerings vary in subject and quantity based on the studio's needs.

The Details:
  • Residence pay $30 less per month for their Communal or Studio membership during their 6 month term. (Communal Membership with Residency is $70 a month and Private Studio Desk membership with Residency is $110 a month.)
  • Residencies are only available to existing members - you must be a member for at least 1 month before applying for a residency.
  • Residents can expect to contribute 15-30 hours per month to their role.
  • Residents report to the President and the Board and are ultimately accountable to the membership.

Our current residency positions are:
Facilities Manager
