Use the Studio​

Platetone is a nonprofit studio serving a vibrant network of diverse artists. Our engagement in print, paper, and book arts fosters a commitment of community and professional support.

Members get 24-hour access to all studio equipment, a flat file, and shelf storage. Also included is use of our kitchenette, common space, and all utilities. Benefits include at least one group exhibition opportunity per year, opportunities to teach, and discounted workshops.

​There are many ways to participate, and we encourage you to view each to choose the best fit. In brief:

​MEMBERSHIP TIERS: (at a six-month commitment)
  • COMMUNAL: $100 a month   LEARN MORE
  • STUDIO DESK: $140 a month   LEARN MORE
  • ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: Cost reduced by $30 a month *after application process   LEARN MORE
  • INTERNSHIP: Free *available for current students after application process   LEARN MORE
  • SUPPORTING: $70 annually    LEARN MORE

On top of all this, Platetone has a special small art business incubator program and has provided this for two small businesses in the past!  More information available upon request.
